Job Summary

An internship with Allianz Global Investors' Infrastructure Funds, Co-Investments, and Secondaries team in Munich to support live transactions, perform financial modelling (DCF, LBO), screening and data gathering, and contribute to ESG analyses, starting mid-January 2027 for at least 3 months. You will work closely with the investment team on due diligence, asset management, and ad-hoc market analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the investment team on live transactions during the due diligence process and compile investment papers for discussion in investment committees.
•Gain experience in financial modelling on infrastructure funds and co-investments (including DCF, LBO and other valuation methodologies).
•Screen potential funds and co-investments, including gathering information, compiling presentations, and participating in meetings.
•Support the investment team on asset management, including analysis of operational/financial performance of portfolio companies and contributing to ESG/sustainability data analyses.
•Undertake ad-hoc projects including macro-economic analyses, mapping the global infrastructure fund market, benchmarking, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Currently enrolled in finance, accounting, or a comparable programme, and in the final year of your Bachelor’s degree.
•Excellent academic record and fluency in English (both written and spoken).
•Prior work experience in the financial services industry (e.g. Private Equity, Investment Banking / M&A, Consulting, etc.).
•Team player with outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail, and high degree of dedication.
•Advanced experience with MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience using generative AI tools like Copilot.
