Job Summary

Support yield enhancement in a semiconductor clean room on the night shift by leading independent defect-focused efforts in the YE area. Manage inline inspection to monitor product quality through the production process, troubleshoot defect causes with available tools, and coordinate defect containment and root-cause identification with engineering. Conduct technical tests and experiments in wafer fabrication, ensure YE tools run optimally, meet quality/safety/cost objectives, and mentor/train team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead yield enhancement efforts on the specific shift in the YE area.
•Support and manage inline inspection to monitor product quality and defects through production.
•Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area.
•Communicate defect information to engineering and assist in root cause identification and defect containment.
•Monitor and drive conformance to factory protocols and participate in continuous improvement activities (root cause analysis, preventative actions).

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and at least 18 years of age or older.
•2 years of semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years of non-semiconductor/military technician experience.
•Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
•Proven performance as a YE Technician.
•Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong verbal and written communication skills.
