Provide technical management for Universal UK Resort attraction ride/show control systems, ensuring successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing. Lead safety-focused oversight of ride/show equipment, coordinate technical and vendor activities in the field, and manage technical interactions across project teams, subcontractors, and third parties. Create scope of work, award vendor contracts, and remain accountable for engineering quality and risk status while actively supporting Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical management, including budget and schedule, for ride and/or show systems (including ride control and/or show control systems).
•Ensure ride/show equipment safety aligns with Universal Specifications, accepted manufacturing practices, and applicable standards.
•Provide technical guidance and vendor management for design, fabrication, and day-to-day installation, testing, and adjustments in the field.
•Oversee technical interactions across project team members, vendors, subcontractors, and relevant third parties, with a focus on ride control systems.
•Create scope of work documentation, award contracts to vendors, and advise/coordinate on status, engineering quality, and engineering risk.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in an applicable technical field (examples include electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, mechatronics) or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
•Required vendor management experience with significant in-field installation related experience.
