Key Responsibilities

  • •Work collaboratively on multiple concurrent roadway projects as part of a multi-discipline engineering team.
  • •Review, monitor, and develop layouts, plans, specifications, estimates, correspondence, and reports for roadways and intersection improvements.
  • •Assist project managers with coordination efforts across owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
  • •Use corridor modeling techniques to solve problems during project development.
  • •Collect and analyze data from site work, surveys, GIS, subsurface utility information, maps, and geotechnical data to support design and construction.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or closely related discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • •Engineer in Training Certification (ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • •0 to 2 years of relevant post education experience in roadway design.
  • •Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, process, and project work-related issues.
  • •Experience with technical computations/calculations and roadway design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads).
