Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and contact charge-off debtors to arrange repayment and monitor adherence to agreed terms.
  • •Negotiate loan workout or settlement terms with debtors.
  • •Pursue suitable debtors through litigation, including filing in Small Claims Court and coordinating with outside legal counsel.
  • •Conduct asset searches, monitor judgments for renewal, and track bankruptcy proceeds for assigned accounts.
  • •Assign repossessions and monitor agency processes, document collections in the Akuvo system, and prepare 1099-C requests when applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent, or an associate degree or bachelor’s degree.
  • •Fluently communicate in English and maintain professionalism with borrowers and others.
  • •Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • •Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making with limited guidance while working independently.
  • •Show negotiation ability to resolve conflicts and overcome objections.
