Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and accept maintenance performed and complete aircraft historical records processes in ACN and MCDS.
  • •Coordinate government quality assurance acceptance of critical safety items.
  • •Conduct aircraft inventories and weight and balance activities, tracking defective work in the phase bay.
  • •Submit aircraft historical records for government review upon completion of maintenance.
  • •Produce Maintenance Engineering Calls (MECs) for repairs beyond technical publication limits and track life-limited components.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. Driver's license.
  • •Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • •Minimum 6 years of aircraft maintenance, including at least 2 years on assigned MDS aircraft.
  • •Service school producing aircraft technical inspectors is preferable.
  • •Must be able to climb on/in/around aircraft and equipment; weight and balance certification is desirable.
