Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee development and training of new employees and direct other employees in work habits.
  • •Work with the Tooling Manager and Maintenance department to develop and implement training programs.
  • •Oversee proper care of company property, equipment, and enforcement of company policies, work rules, and safety practices.
  • •Coordinate with the Scheduling Department and supervisors of other departments to prioritize work in the company’s best interest.
  • •Assist Human Resources with screening and interviewing for Tool Room roles; assist Tooling and Engineering departments at other Amcor facilities when needed; develop Tool Room policies and keep maintenance records for molds and dies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Must be Certified Journeyman Tool Maker.
  • •Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees.
  • •Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • •Ability to meet physical and vision/hearing requirements (e.g., lifting up to 75 lbs, safe forklift operation, reading 10–12-point font at distance, and completing an Ishihara color vision test).
