Key Responsibilities

  • •Build the next-gen build system using modern technologies such as Bazel.
  • •Develop integrations between the build system and CI/CD tooling, including merge queues, code coverage, and integration testing.
  • •Improve the editor experience (e.g., IntelliJ) for backend developers.
  • •Help shape technical strategy impacting developer experience and productivity metrics while reducing cost.
  • •Partner with engineering leaders across teams to drive adoption of new capabilities and ensure code quality.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of industry experience.
  • •Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS (or equivalent experience).
  • •Proficiency in one or more back-end server languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++).
  • •Experience with build systems and (ideally) hands-on Bazel experience.
  • •Experience with architectural patterns for high-scale distributed services, including well-designed APIs and data pipelines.
