Key Responsibilities

  • •Convert executive vision into a documented program and requirements for each site by gathering input across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, People, IT, Security, and Finance.
  • •Run occupancy forecasting and space planning with Finance and People, using utilization data to recommend space size, timing, and location.
  • •Own real estate activities including site selection, tours, lease negotiation/renewals, documentation, and key dates; evaluate lease vs. license and alternatives.
  • •Manage construction and buildouts end to end (design intent, permitting, construction, move-in), coordinating architects, general contractors, designers, and trades while holding scope/budget/timeline.
  • •Stand up and standardize day-to-day facilities/workplace operations across offices, including staffing models, access/visitor systems, and budgeting; hire and lead a small team as the function scales.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years owning workplace, real estate, facilities, or capital projects, including end-to-end ownership of at least one office buildout.
  • •Direct experience negotiating and managing commercial leases with brokers, landlords, and Legal.
  • •Strong construction and vendor project management, holding architects, contractors, and trades to scope, budget, and schedule.
  • •Working knowledge of permitting, building codes, accessibility, and workplace safety.
  • •Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving, scaling company and experience delivering public-event or customer-facing spaces.
