Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel, carbon steel, and sheet metal components for steel curb unit production.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings; fabricate, fit, align, and assemble steel components to specifications.
  • •Operate welding and fabrication equipment (grinders, drills, saws) safely and efficiently; measure, cut, and prepare materials.
  • •Inspect welded assemblies for dimensional accuracy, weld quality, and compliance with standards; perform grinding, finishing, and touch-up work as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •1 to 3 years of welding experience preferred.
  • •Experience manufacturing HVAC rooftop curbs, sheet metal products, or structural steel components.
  • •Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • •Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and welding fumes.
  • •Must wear required PPE (welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe footwear).
