Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and deliver analytics projects from conception to completion with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • •Define scope and methodology, design and create solutions, and execute using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • •Identify innovation opportunities using VisaNet, non-traditional data, and new modeling techniques suited to client needs.
  • •Develop metrics and dashboards to quantify current state and monitor progress across markets and segments with consistent definitions.
  • •Advocate for data science with partners by advising and coaching analytical teams and sharing best practices and case studies.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (graduate degree a plus).
  • •Hands-on machine learning delivery: end-to-end data science projects and scaling solutions.
  • •Strong XGBoost experience with understanding of training, validation, and test splits and feature selection.
  • •Proficiency with data mining/modeling (predictive modeling, classification, decision trees) and statistical techniques (regression, decision trees, random forests, neural networks).
  • •Proficient big data aggregation using Hive, Spark, SQL, and R/Python; familiarity with deep learning toolkits and packages.
