Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general secretarial and clerical duties supporting Government office procedures, including answering phones, receiving and screening visitors, and scheduling appointments/meetings.
  • •Receive, review, type, edit, and process correspondence and documents, including handling rough drafts and electronic/handwritten items.
  • •Sort, route, track, distribute, copy, scan, fax, file, download, archive, shred, and dispose of documentation in accordance with office processes.
  • •Process timecards, training requests, and shipping documents using the Navy ERP system; manage inventory of office supplies.
  • •Maintain office calendars and filing systems; support accessible clerical/secretarial tasks for visually impaired/blind personnel and assist Government staff daily in the supervisor/office workflow.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a US Citizen with a minimum of an active Interim Secret, preferably a current Secret.
  • •Two (2) years of work-related experience creating and maintaining documentation and data management systems.
  • •Experience providing general administrative support at the Branch level working with government leadership and military personnel.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) and Adobe.
  • •Ability to type 40 words per minute and communicate professionally orally and in formal reports.
