Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and perform work per the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • •Diagnose causes of malfunctions, complete repairs, and examine vehicles for additional safety/service needs.
  • •Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts, and save/tag parts for warranty jobs when required.
  • •Document work performed and notify the service advisor when additional work isn’t needed or cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • •Road-test vehicles when required and supervise assigned apprentice technicians; attend factory training and keep up with technical bulletins.
