Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, comment and advise on third-party design documents, procurement lists, and project plans.
  • •Perform professional electrical engineering work including development of single lines, three lines, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, bus arrangements, grounding, lightning protection, and support for permit applications.
  • •Verify site characteristics and provide technical input on engineering, design, testing, maintenance, and construction procedures.
  • •Develop electrical calculations including load analysis, short circuit analysis, protective device coordination, arc flash, voltage drop, motor starting, lighting calculations, cable sizing, grounding and protective relaying settings.
  • •Develop contract documents including electrical plans, specifications, construction phasing, and layout updates in coordination with owners, sub-consultants, and clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • •10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in low and medium voltage power distribution, building electrical systems, lighting, grounding, and design deliverables for large capital projects
  • •Experience leading designs including MV primary/secondary distribution substations, switchgear and system protection
  • •Currently licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • •US citizenship is required by client
