Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop manufacturing diagnostics software for platforms and peripherals, delivering products within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines.
  • •Develop, test, and integrate code for new or existing software.
  • •Provide sustaining or maintenance support for existing applications, databases, diagnostics, scripts, firmware, drivers, and BIOS utilities.
  • •Prepare written software/storage specifications and build design/functional/technical/user documentation as needed.
  • •Develop and implement test strategies, communicate project issues and status, analyze quality metrics, and support process improvements with global factory teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Validated knowledge of programming languages including Python and Shell scripting, and C/C++.
  • •Familiarity with PC technologies such as Intel x86 architecture, Intel ME, RAID, uEFI, firmware, and BIOS.
  • •Ability to code and debug more sophisticated programs using written or verbal design specifications.
  • •Capacity to become proficient with new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience.
  • •5 to 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
