Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Platform team to architect and extend Arista’s EOS networking operating system.
  • •Implement state orientation using a multi-process state-sharing architecture with centralized state and publish/subscribe access.
  • •Develop EOS on top of an unmodified, secured Linux kernel while preserving Linux shell/tool access.
  • •Enable the single software image approach across switches and routers in physical platforms, VMs, and containers.
  • •Improve deployment and automation workflows using DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years fluency in one of C/C++/Python programming.
  • •Strong engineering and Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms.
  • •Extensive background in algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
