Job Summary

Own statistical forecasting for demand planning by driving SAP APO statistical forecasting and ensuring forecast data integrity. Build baseline models for an 18-month rolling horizon to support monthly S&OP, manage forecast accuracy and bias, and collaborate on forecast history adjustments and outlier corrections. Provide key inputs to S&OP/IBP by reviewing strategic planning inputs, conducting root-cause analysis for forecast error, and continuously improving forecasting methods and system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive SAP APO statistical forecasting and maintain data integrity across SKUs/locations to support the monthly S&OP process.
•Generate baseline statistical demand forecasts on a rolling 18-month horizon, highlighting deviations to shipment and/or depletion trends.
•Maintain APO master data (including CVC creation, disaggregation factors, and attributes) and analyze outliers using reports to make corrections.
•Provide key input to S&OP/IBP by aligning on consensus forecast, reviewing strategic planning and AOP inputs, and challenging growth projections.
•Collaborate on forecast history cleaning, root-cause analysis of forecast errors, and continuous improvement by testing new models, implementing best practices, and supporting system developments.

Key Requirements

•4+ years’ experience working within Demand and/or Supply Chain Planning processes, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
•Experience with advanced planning software for Supply Planning, specifically SAP APO and Business Intelligence (BW).
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate supply chain, mathematical, engineering, or business discipline.
•Baseline understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes including supply planning, DRP, inventory planning, conversion, logistics, procurement, and customer service.
•Proficiency in statistics and/or forecasting methodologies with awareness of financial and operational impacts.
