Key Responsibilities

  • •Network with carriers and secure the best available terms in insurance placement.
  • •Coordinate with participating carriers on RFP submissions/quotations, review proposals, and enter quotations in the WCB platform.
  • •Upload and ensure accuracy of placement data in WCB (member listings, claim listings, past 3 years claim data, loss ratio summaries).
  • •Follow up on placement documents and liaise with regional broking and HS GCC teams to complete broking and placement duties.
  • •Manage the placement team, support renewal strategy to the AM team, and ensure client deliverables and communications are accurate for audit purposes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •Minimum 5–8 years of experience in insurance broking and/or placement.
  • •Proven experience managing complex placements and senior insurer negotiations.
  • •Prior experience leading teams or specialists within a placement or broking function.
  • •Strong understanding of the Malaysian insurance market, including regulatory and governance requirements.
