Job Summary

Lead manufacturing transformation across Philips manufacturing sites by defining the transformation roadmap and executing initiatives from concept through implementation. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive digitalization and Industry 4.0 adoption, including piloting and industrializing new technologies. Apply systems thinking and architectural principles to design manufacturing systems and launch continuous improvement efforts that enhance process performance while meeting safety, regulatory, environmental, cost, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Define the manufacturing technology and transformation roadmap, including technology scouting, strategy development, and implementation planning.
•Lead and execute manufacturing transformation projects from concept through implementation.
•Conceptualize, design, and implement manufacturing systems using systems thinking and architectural principles, including human-centered solutions.
•Initiate and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes and operational performance.
•Collaborate with technology partners to pilot, validate, and industrialize Industry 4.0 technologies while adhering to safety, regulatory, environmental, cost, and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
•Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, operations, engineering, industrial engineering, or systems engineering environment.
•Ability to translate manufacturing and factory business processes into digital solutions that improve efficiency, reduce resource utilization, and shorten cycle times.
•Ability to design and develop digital solutions providing real-time visualization of operational metrics for timely decision-making.
•Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
