Job Summary

Mix, blend, and formulate batches of raw ingredients into finished food products according to work orders, formulas, procedures, and quality standards. Verify batch weights and quantities, follow Good Manufacturing Practices, and complete accurate sign-offs on materials, rework, and production details in computer-generated batch reports. Assist with training and competency reviews, lift and handle materials safely, and pull product samples for quality analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Mix, blend, and formulate batches of raw ingredients into finished product per work orders, formulas, and quality standards.
•Verify batch weights and quantities using mathematical calculations.
•Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for food handling/storage and report any observed violations to management.
•Lift and handle packages safely (up to 50-pound packages; includes heavier materials such as 55-gallon drums).
•Sign off accurately on retrieved raw materials, foreign materials, rework, finished product, and timestamps in computer-generated batch reports; pull samples for quality analysis.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•3-5 years related experience.
•Ability to work independently while following company safety and sanitation standards.
•Previous food plant experience is helpful.
•Demonstrated ability to perform Production Tech I and Production Tech II duties, including equipment/operations and SAP batch reporting.
