Job Summary

Build and operate production-grade backend services for an AI-native context layer that enables reliable, governed access to enterprise data for humans and AI agents. Design scalable multi-tenant ingestion, indexing, retrieval orchestration, and retrieval APIs, plus agent-facing integrations. Work through ambiguity on a high-autonomy team, partner across product and infrastructure, and ensure reliability using metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, test, and operate core backend services for context ingestion, indexing, retrieval orchestration, API access, source configuration, and system administration.
•Help define and build a scalable multi-tenant SaaS foundation, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, background jobs, and reliable service boundaries.
•Build agent-facing retrieval workflows by creating APIs and service interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications to retrieve relevant context and signals.
•Partner with product and infrastructure to make tradeoffs between fast experimentation and long-term reliability as the project moves toward production.
•Instrument and operate the services using metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards to improve reliability and understand system behavior.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 109,709 - 131,651 annually

•Strong experience building production-grade, user-facing backend systems and tackling complex engineering problems.
•Experience with AI technologies and frameworks, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and building GenAI-powered applications.
•Proven ability to ship software that reached production and is actively used by users.
•Exposure to cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and building reliable systems in production.
•Experience using observability tools (metrics, logs, traces, alerts) to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
