Key Responsibilities

  • •Create cost estimates and planning outputs across design stages, including pre-tender estimates.
  • •Prepare, review, and validate Bills of Quantities; compile specifications; draft contract documentation and respond to RFIs during tender.
  • •Lead tender-phase reporting and recommendations, including contract document negotiation support and preparation of pre-qualification documentation/bid scoring when needed.
  • •Administer contracts post-award: manage distribution/storage of contract documents, project cash-flow projections, notices, bonds and insurances, and advise on time/cost/quality.
  • •Process contractor payments with coordination (inspection, test completion confirmation, certification of due amounts, liaison with Finance) and support risk mitigation and final account negotiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from an established university.
  • •Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) with minimum 5 years PQE (post qualification experience).
  • •Minimum 5 years work experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably in consultancy with some contractor experience.
  • •Minimum 3 years work experience in the Middle East, preferably UAE.
  • •Strong FIDIC contract knowledge with contract management experience in pre- and post-contract situations, including alternative dispute resolution exposure.
