Key Responsibilities

  • •Bring up, integration, validation and troubleshooting for compute tray platforms in data center server racks.
  • •Collaborate with global architects and developers on server system designs (CPU, GPU, Memory, NIC, PCIe, NVMe, cooling).
  • •Influence hardware system design by reviewing schematics/board design to ensure performance goals are met.
  • •Use simulation and emulation to accelerate early design and enable rapid concept validation.
  • •Provide hands-on debug and support for early server prototypes through bring-up and power-on tests in lab environments.
  • •Support manufacturing flows, firmware updates, and diagnostic procedures; ensure BOM changes sign-off and process optimization.
  • •Drive root cause analysis and collaborate with partners, ODMs and customers for technical support.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience of computer system and firmware architecture and design for server products. Experience with CPLD or FPGA design and RTL.
  • •Solid experience of end-to-end delivery of high-end enterprise server products from definition to customer deployment.
  • •Solid understanding of low-level interfaces between SBIOS, BMC and OS like I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG etc. System boot and initialization, PCIe enumeration, high speed I/O at platform level for enterprise systems.
  • •Experience with C/C++ development, bash/python for scripting, and hands-on debugging skills in embedded Linux environments.
  • •Experience with simulation tools such as QEMU and emulation to validate early design work and with AI tools to accelerate design and debugging.
