Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate FA activities for RMAs arriving at a third-party RMA recovery and Level 1 FA center, aligning priorities, schedules, and execution plans to AMD business needs.
  • •Provide on-site oversight of RMA intake, incoming inspection, triage readiness, and Level 1 FA execution per AMD requirements and debug guidelines.
  • •Coordinate with the third-party center for timely updates on Level 1 FA progress, test status, failure symptoms, screening outcomes, and preliminary findings.
  • •Review Level 1 FA results with the CQE team to determine shipping disposition and route units to the correct AMD Quality Service Center for further Level 2 FA when needed.
  • •Maintain visibility of RMA status, priorities, blockers, aging units, and shipment plans; validate RMA documentation and escalate execution risks before turnaround time or customer commitments are impacted.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in RMA operations, repair, debug, validation, failure analysis, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
  • •Strong knowledge of PCBA and GPU product diagnostics, failure analysis, debug techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • •Ability to review failure analysis data, test logs, inspection results, and technical documentation to drive disposition and escalation decisions.
  • •Proficiency with RMA tracking/reporting and documentation tools, including Excel.
  • •Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/Ubuntu in manufacturing test environments, plus ability to read schematics and board-level documentation.
