Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently review data and MI, conducting deep dives to ensure adherence to the BRR framework and templates.
  • •Perform risk-based testing of key/significant controls and processes to provide comfort on legal, regulatory, and HSBC Group standards alignment.
  • •Identify, monitor, and follow up with IWPB BRR role holders to advise remediation or enhancements to risk & control assessments and monitoring plans.
  • •Prepare RCA review reports and dashboards, ensuring RCA review deliverables embed quality and comply with the methodology.
  • •Manage deep-dive/read-across activities and escalate issues when necessary while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Min total work experience of 5 years, with experience in business management or governance (or equivalent).
  • •Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework and hands-on experience managing risks and controls.
  • •Strong attention to detail and business writing skills, including ability to author/edit documents and challenge submissions.
  • •Conversational English required to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • •Proven ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely, with stakeholder management and communication confidence.
