Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on strategies and manage bid/prequalification activities, including assessing proposals, attending and chairing bid interviews, and making bid levelling recommendations.
  • •Develop and review project estimates, present estimates and value engineering recommendations, and assess risks using benchmarking from other projects.
  • •Establish reporting schedules and manage cost reporting/forecasting, including reviewing budget and spend forecasts with clients and maintaining a commercial risk register.
  • •Control costs by reviewing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements, evaluating change orders, and applying dispute prevention/management/resolution procedures.
  • •Manage invoicing and final accounting, including post-contract audits, account closeouts, and post-contract reviews to document lessons learned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial role within the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, preferably in mission-critical, data center, industrial, commercial, or similarly complex environments.
  • •Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
  • •RICS accredited or working toward accreditation is valued, with strong knowledge of procurement strategies, value management, estimating, and value engineering.
