Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from sites, blueprints, schematics, and reports to support project development, design, and construction.
•Perform professional plumbing engineering work, inspect site conditions, and evaluate compliance with rules, standards, and permits; preference for extensive medical gas design.
•Incorporate advanced technology and modeling techniques to develop design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies for proper installation and functioning of systems.
•Collaborate with engineers, planners, and professionals to execute project work, install equipment, and manage costs and material quantities while ensuring compliance with permits and drawings.
•Prepare data visualizations, technical drawings, calculations, and reports for interpretation and presentation of findings.

Key Requirements

•Bachelors Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline or significant years of experience in the plumbing industry
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline and prior plumbing and mechanical design experience; experience with medical gas design preferred
•Engineer in Training Certification
•Knowledge of plumbing and mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues
•Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design
