Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop complex drawings and bills of material for ATS equipment applications per UL 1008 and applicable standards.
  • •Consult with plant and field sales engineers to interpret and define new equipment applications.
  • •Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products and demonstrate breadth of the product line offerings, including complex wiring.
  • •Advise ETO/COE technicians, manufacturing, and purchasing to support accurate production based on purchaser requirements and resolve post-shipment quality issues when required.
  • •Complete and manage assigned small/large projects to meet deadlines, selecting engineering techniques and participating in engineering standards development and VAVE/cost-out improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •2+ years of engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment or ETO environment.
  • •4+ years of experience supporting engineering to order of electrical equipment or components.
  • •Experience with 3D modeling/design for sheet metal, copper, and assemblies.
  • •Experience or understanding of electrical wiring or schematic design.
