Job Summary

Support a multidisciplinary design team on challenging power generation engineering work, including steam/thermal systems and advanced nuclear technologies. Key Responsibilities

•Develop mechanical equipment and piping material specifications and perform design calculations (hydraulic modeling, pipe stress, and equipment sizing).
•Coordinate with mechanical design teams to complete engineering drawings and support delivery of general arrangements, P&IDs, isometrics, and related lists.
•Collaborate in multi-discipline programs/projects and CAD teams, including peer/group checking and verification.
•Attend client meetings and/or conduct site field visits as needed.
•Prepare technical reports and presentations, and interact with vendors, regulatory agencies, and contractors while maintaining technical and safety standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience for industrial or power generation projects.
•EIT certification with the ability to license as a PE within 1 year.
•Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.
•Demonstrated experience specifying mechanical equipment (rotating equipment, tanks, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers) and familiarity with metallurgy.
