Job Summary

Support day-to-day packaging line operations by leading setup and changeovers, maintaining production run documentation and case totals, and keeping equipment running smoothly. Monitor weights and product appearance, perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments, and assist with preventative maintenance, sanitation tasks, and maintenance work orders. Ensure GMP, PPE, safety, and quality compliance while participating in continuous improvement initiatives like 5S and supporting training and KPI paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead team in line setup and product changeovers, identifying critical controls and issues.
•Provide production run sheets and update production system/case total board with completed case counts for next shift.
•Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies as needed.
•Set up and operate multiple packaging machines; keep the line operating and clear of jams.
•Maintain GMP, PPE, safety, and quality compliance; assist with quality holds/changeovers and preventative maintenance; support continuous improvement (5S) and line paperwork on KPIs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must have previous mechanical experience.
•High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and minor adjustment capability.
•Good solid computer skills and ability to read and understand machine data.
•Ability to lead team activities on the line and comply with GMP, PPE, safety, and quality; must be able to obtain Lockout/Tag out Certification.
