Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Estimate, review, reconcile, and negotiate change orders and related cost impacts throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Coordinate cost information sources with design services, general contractor submissions, and suppliers; prepare cost estimate updates and written comments.
  • •Carry out quantity surveying, cost controls, valuations, contingency and commitment tracking, and participate in post-contract variances/change of control processes.
  • •Manage and validate cost reporting (including monthly cost reports and final accounts), and mentor talent; ensure applicable SOX control responsibilities are followed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it (preferred).
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large, medium-to-high complexity construction projects.
  • •Strong construction consultancy experience and knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; excellent communication skills.
