Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical direction and guidance to staff and subordinate engineers/inspectors while enforcing project policies and maintaining close client interface.
  • •Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule; manage CEI contracts for TxDOT and other clients.
  • •Serve as Project Manager/Resident Engineer, supervising field staff, coordinating field activities, and providing project progress reports to the client.
  • •Prepare and manage quality and safety plans for the project and support project pursuits and delivery.
  • •Complete business development activities, including prepositioning, team development, writing technical proposals, opportunity capture strategies, and relationship building with clients and partners.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
  • •Valid Driver’s License required.
  • •10+ years of resident engineering experience managing major roadway and bridge construction projects (preferred).
  • •Experience with client prepositioning, internal/external team coordination, and proposal development (preferred).
