Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and oversee preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including related financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
  • •Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements; research and draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
  • •Own equity and lease accounting end to end, including ASC 718 and ASC 842 evaluations, schedules, disclosures, and support for equity administration platform reconciliation.
  • •Evaluate and enhance reporting processes, controls, systems, close timelines, reporting automation, and data integrity; strengthen the function for future growth.
  • •Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure SOX compliance, including internal controls design, documentation, and continuous improvement; lead and mentor the financial reporting team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA.
  • •9+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience with a public accounting foundation, ideally manager-level experience.
  • •Extensive SEC reporting experience with direct ownership of filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
  • •Strong technical accounting expertise in ASC 718 (stock-based compensation) and ASC 842 (lease accounting).
  • •Extensive Workiva experience and proven ability to lead teams in complex reporting environments.
