Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing for port equipment.
  • •Perform electrical repairs and refurbishments to engineering standards.
  • •Respond to breakdowns with safe and timely resolution.
  • •Complete electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and component replacements, and test equipment before returning to service.
  • •Use CMMS (MAXIMO) for job cards/parts/work reporting and provide effective shift handovers to supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed electrical apprenticeship and trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or Instrumentation).
  • •Valid A Grade Electrician’s Licence (Victoria).
  • •Proven experience in heavy fixed plant or mobile fleet electrical maintenance.
  • •Ability to perform PLC fault finding and/or programming.
  • •Ability to use maintenance/PC tools (e.g., MAXIMO; Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook) and read electrical drawings (CAD desirable).
