Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests and identifying worn or damaged parts.
  • •Keep equipment available through preventive maintenance schedules, component/part upgrades, corrosion control, and winterization procedures.
  • •Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling/disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, components, and systems.
  • •Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
  • •Maintain shop readiness and records by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, maintaining supplies, and annotating services and repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have own tools.
  • •Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • •Valid Driver's License.
  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
