Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan outstanding teaching and learning in line with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
  • •Create a positive climate for learning and set clear objectives, targets, and structured lesson plans.
  • •Identify SEN (POD), EAL and G&T learners and differentiate using assessment for learning and performance data.
  • •Maintain discipline and standards (punctuality, behaviour, work and homework) according to the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
  • •Mark and assess students regularly, keep systematic records, prepare reports, and support parent/student events.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • •Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Music Teacher in the English Curriculum.

  • •Proven track record implementing effective strategies to raise standards and address learning gaps.
