Mechanic II

Repair and maintain mechanical equipment used in industrial production and scrap yard operations, following Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Diagnose malfunctions, replace worn components, reassemble after inspections and testing, and operate repaired machinery to verify performance. Record work, read manuals and technical drawings, and support yard and special projects as assigned. Work independently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, weather-exposed environment.
