Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and underwrite complex transactions across Corporate & Trade Finance, Structured Credit, and Sovereign risk using Allianz Trade underwriting guidelines.
  • •Evaluate and monitor credit risk for loan and insurance cover inquiries, performing in-depth sector, financial, and legal risk analysis.
  • •Assess complex financing schemes (e.g., pre-export finance, aircraft financing, project finance, reserve-based lending) and challenge external information sources.
  • •Support origination by pre-screening bankable projects and growing new credit insurance transactions.
  • •Monitor and manage the risk portfolio through ongoing reviews, propose mitigants, handle waiver requests, and contribute to group transversal underwriting projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 55,000 - 65,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •At least 6 years of experience in Trade Credit Insurance, Banking, Multilaterals and/or ECAs.
  • •Advanced knowledge of the credit insurance industry, products, and regulations.
  • •Expert knowledge of risk management, including underwriting and risk governance.
  • •Expert knowledge of business analysis techniques and financial assessment skills.
  • •Advanced ability to communicate in English and Italian at all organizational levels.
