Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver a broad range of assessment and consents work, including bidding, design/optioneering, technical analysis, mitigation, and approvals.
  • •Produce socio-economics and population and human health outputs, drafting and editing chapters and stand-alone reports for Environmental Statements and benefits-style documents.
  • •Undertake economic modelling and analysis to manage and deliver socio-economic assessment work for infrastructure and mixed-use projects.
  • •Support junior team members and oversee work relating to bidding, project management, project delivery, and financial management.
  • •Provide socio-economic advice and environmental support on tenders and projects, improving service offerings and staying current with relevant legislation, policy, data releases, guidance, and best practice.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., environment, planning, or related area).
  • •Experience undertaking Socio-economics and/or Population and Human Health assessments across a range of projects, ideally EIA.
  • •Good understanding of UK environmental and planning procedures, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Development Consent Orders (DCO).
  • •A keen interest in socio-economics, infrastructure delivery, social and community impacts, and health/equalities.
  • •Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and external organisations, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
