Own end-to-end process and tooling improvements for revenue accounting close as systems evolve and the business scales. Partner with Revenue Accounting and Systems Engineering to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and make close execution more predictable. Diagnose friction in recons, tie-outs, variance analysis, and control narratives, then ship durable documentation and adoption-ready changes, including a controlled AI-assisted workflow with audit-ready outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead well-scoped process and tooling improvements for revenue accounting close end-to-end.
•Partner with Revenue Accounting and Systems Engineering to reduce manual effort and operational risk and strengthen controls.
•Diagnose and map the highest-friction revenue close workflows, align on improvements, and drive adoption with evidence expectations.
•Implement a controlled AI-assisted workflow for repeatable analysis and documentation with review steps and audit-ready artifacts.
•Raise operational rigor through requirements, acceptance criteria, testing, and control narratives so changes move without heroics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Fluency in ASC 606 and month-end close mechanics, with the ability to spot issues and propose pragmatic fixes.
•Track record improving finance/accounting operations end-to-end (recons, tie-outs, variance analysis, documentation, control narratives).
•Strong project management and organization to move work predictably from idea to requirements, delivery, and rollout.
•Comfort partnering with technical teams to translate accounting needs into requirements, acceptance criteria, testing approaches, and validated outputs.
•Practical, thoughtful use of AI to improve quality and speed in repeatable work with QA, documentation, and guardrails for audit readiness.
