Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation, testing, turn-up, and acceptance of circuit equipment including voice, TDM, optical, and optical IP Ethernet services.
  • •Install, repair, maintain, and/or adjust multiplex equipment, fiber optics, and switches; conduct final acceptance testing with customers.
  • •Troubleshoot customer circuits, network components, and infrastructure from the customer’s premise up to the frame, completing final testing and acceptance.
  • •Use laptop computer to test and install services; option/configure customer hardware/software and install modems.
  • •Review and interpret work orders, diagrams, and related technical documents to obtain specifications and resolve customer issues; update billing/trouble reports and close out documentation.
