Key Responsibilities

  • •Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, documentation requirements, and cautions before starting.
  • •Prepare for and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with task cards, ensuring required documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are obtained and used correctly.
  • •Carry out aircraft test and inspection tasks, record defects/damage, and perform defect troubleshooting and rectification using Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering instructions.
  • •Sign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within your authorization, verifying task cards and associated documents are completed to the required standard.
  • •Manage safety and human-factors for assigned maintenance tasks, coordinate with engineers and technicians for continuity and handover, and provide internal customer service support to operational teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold (or have held) an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License, plus company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320.
  • •Commit to removing any limitations from the license within 9 months of induction.
  • •Obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License.
  • •At least 2 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
  • •At least 5 years’ experience in a Line/Base Maintenance environment.
