Job Summary

Own a technical area within Salesforce’s Threat Detection team, partnering with CSIRT and incident response to improve detection effectiveness. Key Requirements

•6 to 8 years of experience in threat detection, threat hunting, and/or security incident response, including managing significant incidents and breaches.
•Experience developing and refining threat detection methodologies using logs across network infrastructure, endpoint devices, public/private cloud, and SaaS, including log structure and data normalization.
•Strong log correlation and data analysis skills to identify malicious patterns/anomalies, interpret results, reduce false positives, and fine-tune detection rules.
•In-depth knowledge of security principles, common attack vectors, TTPs across the cyber kill chain, and security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
•Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, and SOAR platforms, plus coding experience (e.g., Python) for automation and writing detections across network/host/OS logs.
