Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a credible senior technical voice for federal customers, teaming partners, and cloud provider field teams.
  • •Lead or contribute to cloud architecture proposal content for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, including architecture diagrams, transition plans, and management approach sections.
  • •Translate agency requirements into defensible technical solutions with clear discriminators and develop basis-of-estimate inputs, level-of-effort assumptions, and cloud cost models.
  • •Scope, build, and demo working proofs of concept and prototypes in federal cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and data/AI/ML pipelines.
  • •Support compliance and security evaluation of prototypes (including ATO survival) and document outcomes for follow-on proposals/task orders with architecture documentation and runbooks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • •15+ years in cloud architecture, engineering, or technical presales, including 3+ years supporting federal government customers or federal contracts.
  • •Deep hands-on experience in AWS or Azure (including federal regions) and contributing technical content to federal proposals.
  • •Practical infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or equivalent), containers and Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling, and Python.
  • •Working knowledge of FedRAMP/ATO processes and strong technical writing; ability to translate agency requirements into defensible solutions.
