Job Summary

Perform quality control inspections, sampling, and testing across quarries, asphalt plants, and paving projects, ensuring materials and production meet contract specifications and company standards. Collect and test aggregates, hot mix asphalt (HMA), soils, and core samples; run density and mixture testing and support mix design validation. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate results and quality concerns with plant and field teams while following safety procedures and OSHA/MSHA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform quality control inspections, sampling, and testing in field and laboratory environments.
•Collect, measure, and test materials including aggregates, hot mix asphalt (HMA), soils, and core samples.
•Conduct density testing, mixture testing, and assist with mix design validation.
•Ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and testing tolerances; maintain accurate records and databases.
•Follow established quality control procedures and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations, operating tools safely and wearing required PPE.
