Job Summary

Provide strategic, practical legal support for VF’s direct-to-consumer, technology, privacy, marketing, and retail leasing operations. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements while advising business teams on technology, AI, privacy, consumer protection, email/SMS marketing, and TCPA compliance. Lead regulatory compliance strategy, manage legal risk and outside counsel, and support consumer/customer complaint resolution and related litigation matters.

•Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a high volume of complex commercial contracts and legal documents.
•Advise business teams on technology, AI, privacy, consumer protection, email marketing, SMS/mobile marketing, TCPA, and related regulatory matters.
•Deliver timely, practical legal guidance to stakeholders and provide rapid escalation support to help manage legal risk.
•Manage regulatory strategy and compliance, including state-specific guidance and emerging legal developments, and identify/mitigate legal risks.
•Manage outside counsel and support technology, privacy, consumer, commercial, and regulatory litigation and retail leasing matters, including negotiations, discovery, and case management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 124,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar in good standing.
•4–8+ years of relevant legal experience across technology transactions, privacy, digital marketing, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, litigation management, consumer protection, TCPA compliance (or related areas).
•Ability to independently manage complex legal matters and provide practical, risk-based advice in a fast-paced business environment.
•Proficiency managing complex legal projects, transactions, and stakeholder relationships.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence across organizational levels.
