Job Summary

Lead end-to-end GL accounting and financial reporting for TikTok’s MEA (Middle East & Africa) legal entities, supporting month-end close, audit readiness, and statutory compliance. Manage external audits and audit queries, oversee payroll accounting, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations, and perform fluctuation analysis, risk assessment, and tax reviews. Partner with tax, payroll, legal, transfer pricing, HR, and bookkeepers to ensure accurate reporting and timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for MEA legal entities.
•Coordinate external audits and manage audit queries, including audit schedules, GL reconciliations, and supporting evidence.
•Oversee payroll accounting, process optimization, and reconciliations between payroll registers and General Ledger/bank disbursements.
•Execute group and local month-end close in line with financial calendars, including fluctuation analysis and tax reviews.
•Ensure audit-ready account balances and prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and technical accounting explanations for interim and year-end audits.

Key Requirements

•BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•ACA/ACCA/CPA fully qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
•Independent experience managing end-to-end GL accounting and statutory reporting for Middle East and African entities.
•Practical understanding of regional tax landscape, including VAT, WHT, and CIT across the GCC.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze complex financial data and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
