Job Summary

Lead the Community Engagement and Communications Team within the Environment business line in Ontario, managing staff and projects and setting long- and short-term goals. Own business strategy and proposal delivery, promote a culture of quality work and health & safety, and collaborate across AECOM offices and business lines. Oversee recruiting, performance monitoring, training, mentoring, and regular hybrid in-office leadership to strengthen relationships and office culture.

•Develop, manage, and administer staff and projects carried out by direct reports.
•Develop and deliver business strategy and tactics, including high-quality proposals and report deliverables.
•Proactively promote a culture of high-quality work and Health & Safety within the team.
•Oversee recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, performance monitoring, and mentoring of junior and mid-level staff.
•Manage billable hours and forecast utilization requirements while setting strategic long- and short-term goals aligned with the Environment business line.

Salary: CAD 95,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS plus 8 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
•Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Environmental Planning, or a related field with a strong focus on community engagement.
•Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
•High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a collaborative team environment.
•Strong organizational and communication skills, including both oral and written, with detail-oriented work capability.
