Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate interstate and intrastate transmission pipelines, gathering systems, storage facilities, compression, metering/regulation, dehydration, and receipt/delivery interconnections.
  • •Assess pipeline hydraulics, pressure profiles, compressor requirements, bottlenecks, redundancy, outage exposure, expansion capability, and deliverability under normal and peak conditions.
  • •Review integrity-management programs and related records, including inline inspection/direct assessment results, corrosion control, anomaly remediation, class location/high-consequence areas, MAOP records, leak history, and remaining life.
  • •Support commercial screening and evaluation of pipeline, lateral, storage, compression, and interconnection opportunities, including developing technical scopes, data-room requests, and site-visit plans.
  • •Lead or coordinate technical due diligence for pipeline and gas infrastructure acquisitions and investments, integrate findings into investment risk/assumption views, and prepare materials for senior management and investment committees.

Salary: USD 220,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, civil, petroleum, electrical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • •12–20 years of progressively responsible experience in major interstate/intrastate pipeline, midstream, oil & gas, independent power, utility, OEM, or engineering advisory.
  • •Deep technical experience in natural gas pipelines and system operations, including hydraulics, compression, integrity management, and reliability, including applicable PHMSA requirements.
  • •Experience evaluating pipeline projects or operating assets for acquisition, investment, expansion, commercial commitment, major capital approval, or independent engineering review.
  • •Ability to interpret hydraulic studies, engineering reports, operating data, inspection records, drawings, permits, tariffs, contracts, cost estimates, schedules, and investment-model assumptions.
