Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Engineering Triage function by establishing technical processes, operational workflows, and best practices for managing issues across firmware, mobile apps, cloud services, and connected systems.
  • •Own the technical intake, prioritization, investigation, and assignment of engineering issues from customer support, field operations, and product development.
  • •Drive cross-functional root cause analysis across embedded firmware, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, backend services, APIs, connectivity, and hardware/software interactions.
  • •Conduct periodic engineering triage reviews to coordinate investigations, identify dependencies, remove blockers, and drive issues through closure.
  • •Develop and maintain engineering dashboards/metrics, improve observability (logging, telemetry, crash reporting, remote debugging), define severity/escalation frameworks, and support release readiness (go/no-go).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •8+ years of experience developing and/or validating embedded software, mobile applications, and cloud services with systems engineering, software quality, and engineering operations.
  • •Experience leading cross-functional engineering investigations across embedded firmware, mobile apps, cloud platforms, and connected devices.
  • •Strong understanding of embedded and distributed architectures (MCU/ECU/microcontrollers), RTOS and Linux-based systems, OTA firmware updates, and hardware/software interfaces.
  • •Working knowledge of connected-product technologies (Bluetooth/BLE, Wi‑Fi, Cellular, GNSS, MQTT, REST APIs) and engineering lifecycle tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or GitLab.
